About the Library

The library at Dhemaji City College is located on the 2nd floor of the Administrative Building and serves as a vital resource center for students and faculty. It houses over 7,500 books, including textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals, and rare publications. The library also features a dedicated reading area with broadband internet access for academic research and study.

The library operates with modern facilities including DTP, Wi-Fi, and Xerox services. Each department maintains its own section of books under the supervision of the respective HOD, ensuring easy access to specialized materials for students and researchers.

Library Timings:
Weekdays: 10:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Time: 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

Rules: Students may keep a book for up to 15 days. A fine of ₹1.00 per day will be charged for late returns.

Publications

The college has its own publication cell where the Principal is the chairperson and the HOD and librarian are members. The cell publishes books and journals with ISSN and ISBN numbers. The publication cell annually publishes the college magazine GAJALI, which includes contributions from students and faculty. Departmental wall magazines are also published regularly to promote creative writing and research.
